Biography
Fleetways (Holdings Ltd) was an Australian transportation company. Its subsidiaries included Fleetxpress Pty Ltd, a freight forwarding company. Fleetair, a division of Fleetxpress, began an air cargo service in Australia in conjunction with Trans-Australia Airlines in the mid-1970s. Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd acquired a large shareholding in Fleetways in 1968. It sold its shares to the Woodger Corporation in 1986.
