Thresholds Project

 Organization

Biography

'Thresholds' was a poetry project supported by the University of Cambridge, Arts Council England, Cambridge City Council and Cambridgeshire County Council. The Poet Laureate, Carol Ann Duffy, invited ten poets to take part in series of residencies at museums and collections in the University of Cambridge in the spring of 2013, and each poet spent time exploring their institution's collection and working with members of staff and with young people from schools in Cambridgeshire. The ten poets were also commissioned to write a new poem informed and inspired by the collections. The project was co-ordinated in Cambridge by Helen Taylor.
