Letter from Grace Hamblin [Private Secretary to CSC] to A W Southon [and Sons, Builder], on CSC's proposed improvements at Chartwell [Kent], particularly arrangement for domestic hot water and the heating of the nursery wing, which was supplied by a separate boiler. She wished that in future it would be better for everything to be harnessed to the main furnaces; her ultimate object was to simplify the heating arrangements. [Carbon].
