Biography

William H. Hammer and Co. was a commercial photographic firm active in South Australia. The firm had various studios in Rundle Street, Adelaide, from 1882. Its studio at 6 Rundle Street was known as Paris Panel Studios. The firm was still in business in 1900 (Davies and Stanbury 1985, p.172).
