James Stevenson, 1st Baron Stevenson (1873-1926) was Director of Area Organisation, Ministry of Munitions 1915-17, Surveyor General of Supply, War Office 1919-21, Member of the Army Council 1921, and Member of the Air Council 1919-21. A pencilled annotation on the reverse states 'Lord Stevenson deceased Jun/26'. Photograph by VanDyk Limited.
