A series of watercolours commissioned from the Rhodesian artist Mrs Gilbert Stephenson to be used in colouring lantern slides to illustrate the fifth handbook, A.J. Sargent, 'South Africa: seven lectures (London, 1914). Stephenson had been recommended by the British South Africa Company.

Spare slides of the visit by [Maurice] Harold Macmillan, Prime Minister [later 1st Lord Stockton], including: various buildings in Accra, Macmillan meeting schoolchildren and market traders in Accra, and the Volta bridge; various images from Nigeria, particularly Zaria; Government House, Salisbury [Southern Rhodesia, later Zimbabwe] and Lusaka [Northern Rhodesia, later Zambia].
